I'm having ear pain and neck pain Can a wisdom tooth creates ear pain and neck pain is it really necessary to extract wisdom tooth or pain killers are enough

6 days ago, I got 5 fillings done on the right side of my mouth. The next day, I got 3 more on the other side. The pain has not subsided, and even woke me this morning because it was so extreme. The dentist told me that 2 of the cavities were really deep and I would experience some soreness, but I did not think it would be this bad. Ibuprofen takes the pain away completely, but without it, I'm miserable. What's going on and is this normal?
