I have pimples on my face and it's very irritating I'm applying all cream for it still it's coming back and ruining my face

My dermatologist has prescribed aziderm 10% gel for redness post acne. He told me to use it in morning. But i forgot to ask something. As a newbie, should i wash face after 30 mins of applying it? Or should i keep it on my skin till evening/night?
