I think i was infected with gonorrhoea or chlamydia bacteria. Because my symptom was I've got a discharge after 10 days of the last encounter. So i took the medicines right away that the doc prescribed. But the problem was I under dose the Azithromycin which should be 1g . I only took 500mg. Moreover, i was also prescribed 7 days of 100 mg doxy twice a day. But again, i didn't finished the treatment which I took only for 5 days. After a couple of days, I freaked out thinking that those bacterias is still in my system coz I under dose and I didn't finished the treatment. So to be sure, i took an pcr test of chlamydia and gonorrhoea which came back negative. My question is does the pcr test reliable or maybe i did have a false negative? Do i needed another round of treatment cause I didn't finish my first course of antibiotics? Help please and thanks a lot.
