I think i might be exposed to hiv virus. Which test should i undergo? Also please suggest all alternative test if not available at my location.

My exposure was 9 years back . i had negative tridot last year. Then i went for western blot. The western blot had a mild pink color streak in the left side. I asked hiv specialist who said it is nothing to worry about and just protien streaks and im negative. Then i took pcr from thyrocare using practo app which is also negative. Are tests from thyrocare reliable ? Is my western blot negative?

This is after 8 years of exposure pcr test done in thyrocare. Blood was collected from my home at approx 7  am . there is so many time difference between collection and the blood being recieved at the lab (roughly 12+ hours) the test will still work right ? It was transported from chennai to bangalore.

Since m in early 20s, and you know how our generation is.. just a general query, these days the hook-up trend is on peak, what if the other person has hiv.. since it's hidden portion of iceberg and also incubation period is also very long how do we get to know about this!
