Please help doctor prescribed me mucinac 600 but i dont know how to take it?. Please help how to take it? Should we have to take it in warm water?

Is it safe to take mucinac or pulmoclear while breastfeeding a 5 month old baby.? If not what mucolytic i can take.? Or cold medicine.?

My father age 75 was addmitted in nursing home for acute gastronesititis problem.nw he is back home healthy.Doctor aked for a blood test ,test report shows creatinine level 1.48 and low sodium level.He has prescribed mucinac 600 daily two tablets for one month,and for low sodium salt intake, i want to know for what mucinac 600 was prescribed and is it ok for his health.His bp is 140/80 pulse 77.

We forgot to tell doctor that my wife is lactating mother.
