PCa progressing on LHRH + Bicalutamide. Started Abiraterone. Question is whether LHRH / subcapsular castration necessary while on Abiraterone Acetate?

My dad has prostate cancer. He was diagnosed in the year 2008 and went through radiation therapy and orchiectomy. Since then he has been on medicines such as Bi-calutamide, Honvan and then Abiraterone. In latest visits we found that cancer had metastasised to femur. However he has no pain currently. His PSA again started increasing despite medication and now he has started chemotherapy with docetaxyl. Can chemotherapy stop cancer growth ? Anything else we can do to increase life.
