Pregnancy and Infertility

I have been treated for UTI through IV and used alot of medication for a month for that.....I also have a history of irregular periods due to PCOD but now they are normal after the treatment....now after the IV treatment for UTI I have not go my periods for a week or more and the doctor suggested to take dhuphaston 10mg for 5days 2tabs each day. But I got my period after the first dose itself. Is it ok if I stop the course
