I am starting to take Yasmin (bc). I was told it increases chance of blood clots, as does cigarettes, so no smoking while taking this birth control. I was wondering what it was in cigarettes that causes blood clots chance to rise (ex nicotine?), and if it’s okay if I can smoke marijuana? Will smoking marijuana and taking birth control increase my risks of blood clot, or are those two not correlated?

Delay in menstrual cycle I have taken primolut N on 18th January to 28th January to delay my period. Then 1st February I got my period. And again in 7th March.
