I want to know what are the risks of polyhydramnios. Please also tell me how to avoid it and possible treatment.

Hello, I am a 28 year old married man. My wife is pregnant and we are expecting our first child soon. Recently the reports showed abnormal amniotic acid and she has been diagnosed with polyhydramnios. The doctor said it is treatable but I am not convinced if there is really no issue with the pregnancy. I want to know what are the complications in polyhydramnios.

Doctor prescribed me cansoft locally  for vagintitis.is there any alternative for this? Can i avoid using this as i am already taking medicines orally as prescribed by the doctor?
