I had taken meprate tablet and got periods after which I can light spotting on my panties ..is it normal ...I took meprate because I didn't get periods for three months...as advised by doctor to balance I took this tablet...so please help me in this

Hi, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and was given an injection sometime in the 1st week of December to stop my periods. I was also asked to take hormonal tablets for a month. But I got my periods for the month on the second week. Does it mean that the injection would actually be affecting for cycle for January. Cause I haven't got my periods for January. Was wondering when will I start getting my periods. Will it be for the month of February or will it be delayed
