Is anterior placenta 1.2 cm from OS at 15.6 weeks worrisome? Will it move up or go up till 2 cm by the 19th week?

I get so scanty period flow just for 3 days hardly and its so light along with pelvic cramps since I stopped taking ocps after curing the cyst in rt.ovary. Could it be due to decreased hormonal levels or just imbalance? I never had such issues before taking the pills.
