I am diabetic and recently my H1BAC was 10 and now I am on medication and giving my best to recover Now a days my fasting comes around 150, Is it Normal ?

Hello Doctor, My Mother In Law is diabetic and is under insulin for  years now, she happened to hurt her foot and had got her foot operated. Since then she was advised not to put much pressure on her foot and was asked to wear diabetic footwear. She often gets a kind of ulcer wound on the same place where she got herself operated. Is it common? I also learnt that the doctor who performed the surgery the did not put any stitches because it was on her under foot area. Is it not safe to stitch any wound on the under foot area?

Diabetes from last 4 years and taking 0ne tab (istamet 50/500) before lunch regularly. At present Hb1AC- 6.3 and FPS-. 132 , PPBS-156. Before few month it was 6.1, 112, 136. i.e.it is increase day bay day. I want to opinion that know that I have change the tablet ? Or is it good to take tablet  two times instead of one time !! My job is in Govt. in power sector in Engineering dept. No diabetes in my heritage. I am first patient in my family with diabetes. Pl.give me opinion that I have to change medicine or dose !!
