I have painful mouth ulcers that gets aggravated especially at night. They appeared once I took a multivitamin - brand name Slow and a concentration enhancor. And strangely ulcers also appear if I take becapsules. Please suggest some tips plus your theory on why ulcers appear so frequently for me.

I was prescribed Arachitol Vitamin syrup once a week on empty stomach followed by a glass of milk by an Orthopaedician for a minor knee problem.I am yet to start it.I am also a patient of Thyroid for the past 3 years.That is Thyroxine 50 mcg to be taken on empty stomach.Once a week there is a tussle.Can I skip Thyroxine once a week on the day arachitol and from next day it will be continued as usual.Arachitol,once a week, for 8 weeks only as prescribed Please advise.

My Uncle (Age 68) recently recovered from Acute LRTI, Enteric Fever and UTI in August. The 8 day hospitalization (after having recurrent fever & sudden hypoxia) & treatment was his first ever illness. The only medication he has been on is of High BP for last 15 yrs. We do not even remember the last time he had a fever. He has always sutained himself on limited healthy food, with exercise & walking every day. During hospitalization, blood sugar levels found were higher & during discharge, insulin was prescribed, which was subsequetly replaced by Glyciphage SR 500 on followup. This month, he has been having recurrent fever for last 7 days ranging 100-102. Followup doctor is out of station, so we took a second opinion. New doctor found nothing clinically, but he suggested hospitalization, stating that people of diabetic background are susceptible to sepsis. His recent reports are all ok, except ESR 45 and CRP 59. Could this be seasonal viral fever, or sepsis? He has no symptoms but fever.

Recently I was duagnoueith low hemoglobin and was prescribed livogen for 3 month. Yesterday I took 1 livogen in morning after breakfast. Today after getting up my stomach was making sound and had loose stools black in color. is this side effect? can I stop livogen or continue? is tablet nervup od enough for iron deficiency? pls help.

I have been on thyronorm since 20 years for hypothyroidism. First TSH was 20 and on treatment with thyronorm 100 it got normal and then in 20 years I have tried doses of 75 and 50 according to doctor's advice. Since last 3 years I was on thyronorm 88. TSH was 2.5 . Recently I skipped few doses unknowingly and did not give my h gap between thyronorm tablet and food, may be because of that my TSH value increased to 5. So doctor asked me to take thyronorm 100 mcg. But in 2 weeks with thyronorm 100 dose my TSH value is now 1.39 . I am confused about whether to reduce the dose or continue 100 mcg. Hoping for suggestions.

My aunt has been hypertensive for 7-8 years. She was under medications. But since 1 yr her bp readings are low so doctor advised to stop medications.. Her bp comes mostly 100/70. Is it alright?
