I got operated on 30th March 2017 for Retinal detachment in my left eye. I am still having Black Shadow/Curtain in my left eye after completion of operation. Kindly advice is there any issue with operation or will it take some time for the black shadow/ curtain to disappear?

Hello.. I have received mixed views as regard cleaning eyes with water or splashing water on eye... Till date I have been advised to splash water on the eyes to reduce strain until recently when I was advised not to do so, since it may impact eyes PH levels.. Even articles on Internet seems to have different views. May I request views from the Ophthalmologists who reads this to opine whether is it safe to do so??

Got some expired cream in the left eye due to which there is swelling under the eye and little white pores near the tear duct in left eye. There is constant watering, redness. There is severe pain as well
