My vision worsened . I need cataract surgery. I went to this ophthalmologist and scheduled the surgery.. I take flomax and he never mentioned that I can't take it for 2 weeks after surgery.. if I can't take my FLomax for my prostate I'm in trouble. I found out on the pre-admission testing forms. Should I look for another surgeon and what an I to do if I can't take this Rx?

I'm a 21 year old female with eye problems and I think I'm having a severe adverse reaction to my medications. A few months ago I was diagnosed with uveitis and put on prednisolone drops. After a months of those, I got really high eye pressure and was taken on off prednisolone drops. Currently I'm taking bromfenac brinzolamide/brimonidine drops as prescribed. It's been a week since I'm taking these drops, and ever since I started taking them, I've been feeling terrible. I'm extremely tired, I feel feverish with very cold hands and feet, severe headaches, I have chills, low appetite and generally feel unwell. However, I don't have a cough or runny nose or any other respiratory infection signs. I did a red blood cell count on myself using blood from my fingertip and got 2.5 million cells/microliter, which is rather low. A rare side effect of these eye drops I'm currently on is bone marrow suppression, and i think I have that. My eye pressure is fine now. Can I stop taking the drops?

For the last week or so, both my eyes are a little watery and they are itching every now and then. Due to this discomfort, I'm unable to open my eyes wide and there is a tendency to blink more frequently.

I have this eye pimple in my left eye lower eyelid and its been few weeks since this has persisted. I visited a doctor and she gave me antibiotics ( photos ) for 3 days and asked me place hot cotton on that stye regularly. I followed everything she said but I could hardly see any results. She said if the problem persisted I would have to do incision. I am hell scared of doing the same. Is there any other solution apart from operating my eye because I can't imagine going for an eye surgery as it is the most sensitive region. Kindly help!

Hi, How i can improve my vision. I have short sight left eye - 0.5 with axis 180deg and Right -1.0. Some time my left eye is straining much. I wear glasses only when i drive also during watching the​ movies aswell working in PC. Is there any food i should take to improve or enhance my vision..?? Pls suggest me..

With no answers from doctor I am confused regarding my own actual issues. I am not able to clear my eye test for both near as well as distant vision. Spectacle trial also failed. The doctor is unable to give any specifis and I am not sure what to get treated. For

Sir, My power in eyes are : Right : sph (-0.50), cyl (+1.50), Axis 100 Left : sph (-0.50), cyl (-1.0), Axis 180. I want to know whether I can have Lasik operation as I cant accomodate wearing spectacles all the time. My right eye create so much problem, I have to blink it many time by giving pressure. I feel all the time sleepy and have to wash my face and eye with water many times. Working on computer and reading books is so irritating and giving 2 or more hours long examination feels like hell along with headache. I want to prepare for Mtech etc but its so irritating to study.While playing Cricket with even little sunlight its like I will break my right eye by blinking forcefully continuously. I have consulted with so many Dr. but did not get any suitable result. I have used many type of drop like systane, refresh tear,Alcon natural tear etc but these always give no result. Please suggest some solution regarding this as I really got tired by consulting with many Drs.

Actually doctor I'm 25 years old and for past sometime I have notice red rim around my eye. I don't know why it has happened, but it was suddden and in past I do have suffer from eye problems like itching, irritation etc What are the symptoms of these?am I suffering from some diseases and how can I treat this?

Hi, One month before I have got some eye infection and then I consult a doctor and he gives some antibiotics within a week the pain goes away but the bump with puss is still there.I have been applying hot water compress daily 2 times for 15-20 mins but it's still the same. Kindly suggest me something. how can I get rid of this?
