I’ve been having this bright red line in the corner of my eye since Last Thursday and it’s been giving me pain, I went to the ER and they had a look at the line and told me it looks like a regular blood vessel. They discovered I had a scratched cornea since I use contacts. Im currently using Ocuflox for the cornea but other than that this red line in my eye is a mystery

There is a "blood vessel" that sticks out more than my normal vessels and it's been causing a little bit of discomfort and pain. I went to the ER and they told me that it looks like a normal blood vessel and it will go away within a few days. But they discovered I had a scratched cornea since I'm a contact lens user, they have prescribed me Ocuflox for my cornea and the physicians also told me the scratch is not linked with the red line.

I am myopic patient and age 23, a student. My left eye is -5 and my right eye is -6. But my right eye is not that much clear like my left eye. I already have consulted a doctor but he is saying to continue with it and prescribed me some medicines like Ocurest eye drop. Is it really normal and how far i am from blindness ?? Plz reply me. I completely depend on you. I am studying hard so should i reduce study time ? My one eye is 6/60 and other is 6/36.

I work on a PC for around 6-7 hours for the past 2 months and since the last Month occasionally I get watery eyes. But this got aggravated because since the last week I am experiencing regular eye discomfort and water in the eyes while working in the system

Dear doctor I have a child of age 18 months having eye infection from past 20 days on his left lower eye lid like small stye. From last7days his right eye also got infected. This time his upper eyes lid. Consulted pediatrician prescribed toba eye drops. Using this from past 6days. His eyes got swollen reddish cannot open his eye yellow discharge in th morning  sticky both the eye . Went to the doc today prescribed nebrocin eye ointment. My concern is  can I take neosporin eye ointment instead of nebrocin. Please help me out.

I had a cataract surgery done on friday and bandage was removed on saturday, my vision after the operation has been blurry and swelling in cornea is the reason given by y doctor. how long ot will take my vision to return?

Hello Doctor ,my father is having right red eye from 2-3 days and his ESR is 51. Someone has told him that it may be a sign of ocular tuberculosis (eye). He is also having pain and sometimes blurry vision.

I have redness problem in my eyes. every 1month (almost) one of my eye start red at one corner and becomes red entire eye . during this 1 week 4 days are unbearable pain and it will will be normal at end . i have this problem almost form past 10 years and i have visited few hospitals they did most diagnosis tests , all are normal ...so they are thinking its bc of  alergy might be dust/weather... but not sure about exact reason and everytime they assured like no problem with eyes. i have used all medicines and eyedrops . execpt pred forte nothing helpfull. i am using pred forte from long , its unable to prevent redeye . but it decreasing the time from 1 week to 5 days . please help me if you have seen mycase before . and let me know if you need more reports on this. Note: red eyes frequency 1 week to 5 weeks and the duration is from 4 days to 10 days

I have infected to my eyes, had antibiotic azithromycin and acelofenac with sp from Saturday. Kindly assist me

Sir My mother was diagnosed with early developing cataract in right eye last week . The lens opacification is mild . While the doctors at Safdarjung hospital ( Delhi ) have told to get the surgery performed , currently it is not feasible for us to have the surgery done . So is there any eye drop or any other medication that can be used till we go for the surgery ( in October most probably ) . Or should we not wait and get the surgery done immediately ? Please help !
