My sister is 17 and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism with 66 reading and is using thyroup 75. Is that sufficient or excess power is to be used. She is already put on 90 weight. She is living too far from Hyderabad to consult you and so I write you this query. She was told that she will reduce to 15kgs in 2mns if she use that medicine. Is that possible with that medicine ?

I have severe pain during my periods. I did tried meftal spas tablet but it did not work.. now I've started taking nice tablet (nimsulide) as it is the only medicine which works and reduces pain. Many have suggested me to stop taking nice medicine as it has huge side effects.. I just wanna know is it true? Will later on I can face problems due to this medicine?

My Mother's (age 60) TSH test result is showing more than 9 from last one year. Earlier she was consuming Thyronorm 25mg. After TSH test last year doctor suggested to take Thyronorm 75mg. Still there is no improvement. She is not getting enough sound sleep at most night. Is this related to Thyroid?

Since past few days I urinate more number of times than normal. Even the water intake has increased to 6-7 litres a day. Somedays it goes beyond that level. After having water I again feel like thirsty. In the beginning I thought that it may be due to Summer and dehydration, but now the night urination has also increased. The more I drink water the more I feel thirsty and the more I urinate. Please let me know the possible causes.
