Hiiiiiiiii

Is it true that even 3 doses of prep give enough protection for future bite within 3 months and boosters are just for maximum protection i mean to say that 3 doses already  make risk very low if bite on foot not on high risk areas like head face neck

Dog Is Licking Her Nipples & Itching

My female dog (7 years in age, unspayed) has been licking & itching herself alot around 2 weeks. Her nipples were a bit swollen and she recently had her periods and was being clingy after it. She hates a toy and she was now roaming around with it everywhere she went and was whining and staying indoors besides us alot. She is still very energetic but she is constantly licking her nipples. Her skin has darkened around her nipples and her nipple have become worse. Please suggest some medicine/remedy as we don't have vets nearby or in the meanwhile anything to lessen her symptoms.

Rabies Vaccination History and Recent Mi

I completed a full course of anti-rabies vaccination on 27 November 2023. Subsequently, on medical advice, I received a booster dose (Day 0) on 9 December 2024 following an exposure from my own dog. On 8th February 2025, I experienced a minor exposure again from the same dog. The dog is healthy and fully vaccinated, receiving regular annual anti-rabies vaccinations. The incident involved a scratch caused by the dog’s nails most probably. There was very less (micro) amount of visible bleeding, no open wound, and the skin appears intact. Given my vaccination history and the nature of this exposure, I would like your guidance on whether any further post-exposure prophylaxis or additional measures are required. Thank you for your time and advice.

Dog took my 3 fingers in it's mouth

I was passing from a place where dogs were fighting. Suddenly a street dog came and took my 3 fingers in it's mouth...as soon as I felt it's teeth on skin I removed my hand. Next I washed it thoroughly and observed it ...I literally don't have even a minute scratch anywhere as I was quick enough to remove my hand. Do I still need rabies vaccination?

Feeling sick after Rabibax-S vaccine

Sir/Madam I had a category 2 dog bite on 28th January evening. I took 1st dose of  rabivax-s vaccine in a private hospital on 29th January morning. No immunoglobin was advised. Took the 2nd dose of Rabivax -S on 1st February. Now from 3rd February, ( 5 days after 1st dose and 2 days after 2nd dose) . I am feeling sick, nausea and pain in legs and back . is it normal? Are these normal side effects from the  vaccine. Will it subside normally. I am very tensed. Please help . Thanks in advance
