Hi, My four month old boy was having enfamil formula when an elder in the house introduced diluted cow milk in his diet. He was OK for 15 days & suddenly his motion turned grayish black. Stool test confirmed occult blood positive. Pediatrician asked to change formula from milk to soy. It worked. However after?3 weeks due to shortage of Isomil we gave enfamil for one day & the grey green black poop returned. We luckily got Isomil the other day and put him back on it. But he's been passing semi solid and little water like motions since three days. Doc has now prescribed entrogermina for 5 days and z&d zinc 0.3 ml morn and eve for 15 days. Baby has has two doses of entrogermina but it hasn't helped. He's still paying loose motions. Please advise how soon will the drug show its effect and if my baby will be OK? Thanks.

I have a 15 days old son . he was diagnosed with jaundice and was administered in phototherapy wef 12 feb to 14 feb. during the course of treatment, TSH test was also conducted. the mother is suffering from hypothyroidism since 7 yrs now and is taking med daily . during delivery, the thyroid levels were normal. now, the baby's TSH is 23.80 as on 14 feb 2017. doctor has advised med ie Eltroxin 25 mg regularly and two tests ie Thyroid scintigraphy and thyroid USG. please advice

Hello doctor, my son is 22 months old. He is having a lot of discomfort due to gas and may be pain. His tummy is bloated too. He doesn't pass stools everyday. We need to travel after a couple of days for a trip of 4 days. Can I give him Colimex drops for stomach pain n flatulence during journey ? If yes, then what will be the dose ? His weight is around12kg.
