Dear Practo, My son is just 5 years old (DOB :  3 rd Nov 2016). He does not like syrups , especially the pink ones. Are there any tablets for kids this age to treat routine ailmentd like fever, cold, cough etc.. ?. Many thanks in advance. Stay Safe, Guru

My 9month old baby from last two days having frequent liquidy stools with little cough in the morning and remain ok for rest of the day. He is under breast feeding and also we are giving cerelac and lactogen . Please suggest some medicine for the same.

Respected doctors I have query related to my child. He is now 21 months old. He was born by operation at arround 8.5 months. His birth weight is 2.9 kg But now his weight is only 11kg .height is little bit more than age of that group child. Till age of 9 months his weight was approx 8.5-9 kg. At one year his weight was 10 kg . But after that his weight was losing and gaining and so on. And now at 21 months his weight is just 11 kg. Till age of 8 months he looked well body hand face looks every thing looks healthy. So after 8 months continuously he has been falling sick .Most of time, he suffers cold, fever and cough each month. And repeats in every one or two months. And Till now he has been suffered from diahrreha One time. Eye infection one time . Fever I think evey month. And no dengue and malaria. Cold and cough ear infection fever are most common and he suffers every month either of them. I also suffered so much antibiotics and drops. so I want permanent solution and guidance pl

Hello doctor My son accidentally got pierced with sewing machine needle on index finger He is 2.5 years old His vaccination already completed till 2 years So we need any injection for the same?

I don't remember if my baby has give OPV at the time of birth. Baby is of 40 days now and we are planning to vaccinate in next 5 days for 6 week/1.5 month vaccination. Is there any problem if he missed OPV at Birth. Also, there is 4 days gap between 6 weeks and 1.5 month. Which should we consider 6 week or 1.5 month

My toddler son is 22 months old. For the past two night sleep time and during naps, I find him suddenly waking up one hour into his sleep and begins crying with hiccups inconsolable for atleast 30 mins, then it subsides and he can be put to sleep. Should i be concerned? Is it something to do with digestive system or other?

My daughter is 3 years old. She has recently started nursery in UK. She has been sick every week . Here Gp told that children will be sick once they start nursery. Last week Friday she got fever and we went to go and took urine test they told urine test contains blood and asked us to go hospital. Later they checked again they told it might be because of the infection she got. Once it cleared we will check and then we will proceed on further. Later on Wednesday she again got high fever like above 100 C. Again we went to hospaital here, there doctor told she got tonsillitis and gave penicillin antibiotic. He told she contains light blood in urine test. It's not worried thing. They asked us to wait for further 2 weeks once the infection got cleared. She is passing urine normally no pain in that area. But we are really worried and stressed out of this. Kindly suggest advice on this.

My new born  10 days baby didn't poo for past 24 hours. What shall I do now. Please guide me for any drops

Hi Doctors, my baby was vaccinated with BGC and 1st dose of DTP (infanrix) yesterday. Now our baby is not feeding since a very long time. Last time he feed was at night 2:30am. It has been 8hrs. He is just sleeping. Actually I gave him little less than 1ml of babygesic two times yesterday after vaccination at 4.30pm and at night 11.30pm just to avoid any pain. There was no fever. please suggest.

My son had stomach pain and vomiting no loose stools. And fever 101, headache and throat infection. We met a pediatrician he prescribed dolo drops and Amoxicillin. After giving that he vomited. Is there any extra medicine to give for vomiting? No improvement in his health. Kindly help me...
