Scratching/crackling nose when turn neck
When I turn my head from left to right I hear a frictiony type of scathing/crackling sound from within my neck.. The neck is able to move full range, but it just feels as those the joint or vertebrea needs lubrication or something. What is going on?

Intramedullary lesion at spinal C7
Paralysis of hands wrist and leg mostly left side. MRI report says, "Evidence of ill defined heterogeneous altered signal intensity intramedullary lesion noted at spinal cord C7, D1 level appear heterogeneously hyper mixed with few hypointense areas which appear iso to spinal cord on T1 and T2w images, On post contrast study the lesion shows patchy irregular peripheral enhancement. The lesion measures 40 mms craniocaudally, 10mms anterioposterioly and 14 mms transversely in size. Few irregular hypointensities noted in the lesion on gradient images -? haemorrhagic product/calcification.
multisegmental CSF signal intensity area noted involving cervical and upper dorsal spinal cord extending from C1 to D4-5 level appear hyper on T2 and hypo on T1 images suggest syrinx.
