Hello, My mother (Age 61 yrs) has fracture plate in one leg ankle. Now fracture has healed. Is it reqiured to remove plate?

Right leg/foot Injury Metatarsal fractur

I injured my right foot/leg on 08.04.2026. Initial X-ray is attached. I had a temporary cast for 10 days followed by a permanent cast for 21 days. Today, the cast was removed, and a new X-ray is attached. Please review the X-rays and advise whether there is improvement/healing, and recommend the next steps for further recovery.
