I have pain near my tailbone, but only while sleeping. When I try to change positions in bed, the pain is extremely severe, and I need support to turn over. I’ve had this pain for almost 5 years, but it has become slightly worse after delivery. I don’t have any pain or difficulty while sitting, standing up, or walking. Could you please let me know what might be causing this?

If you had you deliver within a month or 2 it is normal to have some discomfort. But if your having pain for longer period it is best you do "Tail bone streching exercise" for 2-3 weeks. Based on your long term pain it is mostly coccydynia and it will improve with the exercise
