I'm having ankle and foot pain along with sweeling of my ankle and foot and high fever , I got consultation with a Dr of ortho although the pain in my waist to upper leg have gone the foot and ankle still get swallen the dr suggested me many tests , x - ray etc.. he told me I have deficiency of vitamin d and gave me the medication but my test also reveals that I have very high CRP( 84.10) , Positive ANA(1: 160) , also my urine reports shows trace protein and blood , i mentioned him about that but he still suggested me to continue the given medicine like D- gain, Toldiv-D , and One to all - NT, I have been taking the medicines from the last 1 month , but the problem still persists I again visited him and this time asked me to get a bilateral ankle mri , but I'm skeptical should I visit a General Physician or a rhumetologist , so if anyone have any suggestions it will very helpful.
I have a fracture on the Fibula head due to fall from bike 2 weeks ago. The doctor didn't apply any cast/plaster but advised to use hinged braces. Only cycling, sitting crossed legs, stairs up down is restricted by the doctor. But I'm walking minimally(Partial weight on the fractured leg) and time of the time sitting keeping my leg straight. Pain and swelling reduced. But stiffness around the knee and pain during flexion of the knee. Should it heal without cast/plaster and how many days would it take to walk normally?
A heavy pan fell on my right foot about 10 months ago, not sure if this is the reason but whenever I play sports etc, a shooting pain starts from my thumb till my mid foot area and a bulge appears there. RICE method helps a little but is this a permanent solution everytime since it's recurring? Do I need to consult a doctor? If yes, which specialist? Bone or nerves?
