I am a 32-year-old unmarried woman. For the past month, I have occasionally experienced feverish episodes in the evening. Initially, my haemoglobin was 6.8 due to heavy menstrual bleeding, so I thought the fever was related to anaemia. My haemoglobin has now improved to 12.7, but for the past week, I have been experiencing fever every evening. I previously had severe neck and shoulder pain, which has now subsided. Today, I noticed dark yellow urine and burning during urination. My previous urine test was normal. I also have hypothyroidism and insulin resistance. What could be causing these recurring fever episodes, and what tests should I undergo?
