Age 40 years, female. For the last 2 months, I have been experiencing sudden electric shock-like sensations from the lower back down to both legs. It happens occasionally and is associated with severe pain. I also feel tingling and numbness in the legs, and both legs often feel heavy. I do not have any known drug allergy.
Hello
My father in law (age 75) had been prescribed two medicines separately by two doctors in a short time gap. I wanted to know whether these medicines can be taken together in a day or not. He is facing constant dizziness and loss of sense of balance while walking almost all the time. The medicines are Syndopa 110 and Strocit plus.
I have impaired awareness seizures & take tegretol 200mg morning / 300mg nighttime. 53kg/177cm
Titration started Jan 2026.
Should nighttime very intense teeth grinding, thrashing, panicky noises (definitely seizure and not parasomnia) be improving by now? Daytime has improved a bit. What is the normal expected timeline?
Also have IUD for adenomyosis. IUD controlled pain but now tegretol has caused lots of uterine cramping. What options to manage this or any long term suggestions that helps?
Also any quick general advice for someone on tegretol long term? Risks and how to minimize deficiencies?
Thank you for your time your advice is greatly appreciated.

I’ve been experiencing numbness in a specific area of my index finger for a little over 24 hours. The numbness is localized to the lower part of the finger (closer to the base/palm side), rather than the entire finger.
There hasn’t been any obvious injury, swelling, or discoloration. I don’t have pain, but the sensation hasn’t improved since it started. It's not fully numb.. there is some sensation but it's not completely normal.
Does anyone know what could be the reason? Is this something serious? I'd be grateful for any insights on the matter. Thank You.
