I am a 35 year old woman from Bangalore (5 Feet 6 Inch Height, 74 Kg Weight). I was having knee pain for maybe close to 18 months. The pain was not constant, kind of intermittent. I actually wear heels 4-5 days a week, heels with 3-4 inch heel. I got MRI done of both knees post doctor's advise. Key findings: Right Knee-“Grade I horizontal tear of posterior horn of medial meniscus. Left Knee-Grade I horizontal tear of posterior horn of medial and lateral menisci. Reviewing the MRI reports, my doctor advised me to start physiotherapy focused on Quadriceps & VMO strengthening exercises. I have begun the exercises, and it has been about 2 weeks so far. The pain is there, sometimes more. Wanted opinion on: 1. How long does it typically take for this condition to improve and for the pain to go away? 2. Is it fully curable? 3. Will I be able to wear high heels (3–4 inches) occasionally in future, perhaps 3–4 days a week for about 2–3 hours a day? Please guide the best. Thank you
