I already have a problem of slight imbalance. Currently I also have deficiency of Vitamin D3 and B12. By the way, I often have health anxiety, these days I am feeling a little light headed.does not faint but It feels like I'm wandering sometimes.Is this vertigo or something else? I have got the Ecg done, the result is normal.There is no thyroid either. There is also cervical pain. Nowadays, joints also acha. Insect bit me on my lower lip and that has caused huge swelling. No pain or irritation as of now. Swelling has not reduced after two hours. Applied ice for 15 minutes, twice. Allegra taken.
Feverish since Aug 30; first measured Aug 31 (~99.7°F). Fever is my only symptom—no cough/sneezing. Paracetamol (Dolo) controls it, 1–3/day. I delayed seeing a doctor ~2 weeks due to an exam.
Doctor prescribed Sumo (paracetamol), Bencifix-500 (cefuroxime 500 mg) and Proveito probiotic twice daily for 5 days, plus CBC, malaria and Widal. CBC/platelets were normal; malaria and Widal were negative. Reports are attached. After 5 days, fever persisted, though milder. It returns the next morning/afternoon and improves after paracetamol.
Today the same doctor prescribed Sumo + Proveito + azithromycin 500 mg + ofloxacin 200 mg, twice daily for 3 days, without further tests. I’m concerned about repeated antibiotics, side effects/interactions, and whether this azithromycin dose is appropriate.
Is repeated empiric antibiotic treatment reasonable when the cause is unknown? Should further tests (e.g. blood/urine cultures) be done first? Could these antibiotics affect blood-culture results?
Hi Doctor, I am 32 years old and currently recovering from dengue. Today is Day 10 of my illness. My fever stopped on Day 4, and I currently do not have fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, or any bleeding. I have only mild weakness.
I had a blood test today. My CBC is currently normal — platelet count 224,000/µL and WBC 6.63. However, my liver enzymes are elevated: ALT/SGPT 141 U/L, AST/SGOT 73 U/L and GGT 166 U/L. Bilirubin (0.42), ALP (98) and albumin (3.9) are normal.
Noticed a tiny soft movable lump on side of neck from past few months.No other issues.what should be next course of action ??
