Fatty changes in the liver with normal liver function tests are common, even without diabetes. Diet, weight and a slower metabolism are the usual drivers. The fullness you feel after meals can come from the liver sitting close to your stomach, or simply from slower digestion.
Next Steps
Cut down on fried, oily and sweet food, and add daily walking. Both help reduce liver fat over months. Eating smaller, more frequent meals can ease the fullness after meals. A repeat ultrasound in six months to a year, along with your liver panel, helps track whether it's improving.
Health Tips
Please see a physician or hepatologist to confirm this plan suits you, especially since your gallbladder has already been removed.
