Regards to my high triglycerides
Please suggest me for high triglycerides. It is 288. And hdl is low. I had been taking medicines rosuvastin for cholesterol. But can it be possible to reduce my triglycerides without medicines. I don't want to make a habit of medicine now only I m 44 years married old women. It's happening from past one year up and down. My ECG, 2d echo, sugar other tests all are normal. Except my cholesterol. My physical activity is not great. But i do walking 10-15 minutes a day. Please suggest. I tried taking cholesterol care tea as well from past one month But it's same. Not increased not reduced. I don't want to take medicines

Triglycerides at 288 with low HDL do respond well to diet and activity changes, often more than LDL does, so trying that route first is reasonable. The main drivers are refined carbs, sugar, fried food and alcohol, along with how much you move through the day.
Next Steps
Cut back on sugar, white rice, maida and fried snacks, add fish or flaxseed a few times a week, and build up to 30 to 40 minutes of brisk walking most days instead of 10 to 15. Herbal teas haven't been shown to move triglycerides on their own. Recheck levels after 2 to 3 months of consistent change and discuss with your physician whether medicine is still needed.
Health Tips
Please don't stop your prescribed cholesterol medicine on your own without checking with your doctor first.
