Health Q&A
Bad breath

Hi I have been suffering from bad breath. Previously I used to feel better with scraping my tongue but from last 1 year it's been worse. No amount of tongue scraping and flossing has helped. My tongue buildup used to get huge within short span of time. I got endoplasty done, so no ent and my dentist said no issues. Even gastro couldn't help in this case. But as a last resort I have started trying chlorohexidine mouthwash and it worked wonders for me. There's no morning breath and the tongue buildup has reduced too. So it's worked But I found that chlorohexidine shouldn't be used longterm. So could you please suggest any other mouthwash that can be used long term for the same. Thank you

Trauma on roof of mouth

Dear Doctor, Something pricked the inside of my mouth on July 2nd. Three days later, it turned into a wound-like sore. Even now, five days later, it hasn't healed. It hurts when I eat or press against it with my tongue, though there is no pain or bleeding otherwise. Please suggest a treatment; I am worried.

Crown query

Hi Doctor, I was diagnosed with a small myocardial bridge in the mid LAD. I initially tried a beta-blocker, but it didn’t relieve my symptoms, so I’ve now been switched to a calcium channel blocker. I wanted to ask about the long-term outlook. Are medications effective in controlling symptoms for most people with myocardial bridging? I’ve read mixed information online, with some sources suggesting less favorable outcomes, so I’d appreciate your opinion.
