(F,47) I fractured my left femur 10 months ago. doctors have done plate fixation with bone grafting because nail was not going inside my bone due to osteoporosis(as doctor said). Now after 10 months doctor said that it is non union. So I consult two more doctors. One doctor said they have to do remove the plate and re operate with nail or plate fixation and bone grafting and One doctor said that there is less chance of bone joining even after refixation. So they suggested Total Hip Replacement. I am very confused what should I do. Please see my xray and suggest me what is best. One xray is latest. One is when I fall.
Thankyou

I’ve been taking Vitamin D3 60,000 IU weekly (3 doses completed) as I found my Vit d level 19.8 ng/ml. My symptoms like body ache, muscle pain , anger have partially improved. Should I add Vitamin K2 (MK-7) to this regimen? Is it necessary for calcium utilization and safety, or can Vitamin D alone be continued?
Hello Doctor,
I have frequent neck pain with spasm and stiffness (about 3–4 times a month). I am planning to avoid muscle relaxants and instead manage flare-ups with paracetamol 650 mg, warm compress, and topical gel.
I have already done X-ray, MRI, and other tests, which were normal. I also tried physiotherapy, which helped but only for a short period. As per the physiotherapist, the issue is due to forward neck posture and rounded shoulders.
Is it safe to continue managing episodes without muscle relaxants, or could that cause any issues?
What should be the long-term plan to reduce these recurring episodes? I’ve noticed weight lifting can trigger the pain, but I also want to strengthen my muscles. How can I safely continue exercising without worsening the issue?
Should I continue physiotherapy or focus more on posture correction and specific exercises?
What warning signs should I watch for?
Thank you.
