Lung problems such as lung cancer, pulmonary edema, pleurisy, tuberculosis and croup can cause shortness of breath in a patient. Individuals with pulmonary edema are at first provided with sufficient oxygen supply and after diagnosing the condition they may be administered with preload reducers, morphine, afterload reducers and blood pressure medications. Nasal septum defect

My son has visible nasal septal defect. He buzzes many times in a day. His right nostril seems to have very close walls, due to which he might have problem of breathing. His sleep is not disturbed yet. I am keen to know if there is any helpful measure to improve the condition. My son is non verbal and would not co operative for operating procedure. So please guide.

Suffering from Cough since last one mont

I have been suffering from a persistent cough for the past one month. Despite taking antibiotics, Inhaler  and other prescribed medications, there has been no significant relief. Recently, I have started experiencing episodes during coughing where I feel choked and temporarily unable to breathe for a few seconds, which is causing concern. I have also undergone a CT scan of the chest. The findings include: Fibroparenchymal bands in bilateral lung fields. Subtle ground glass opacity in the left lower lobe. Presence of multiple mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes I request your expert advice regarding: The possible cause of my persistent cough and breathing difficulty.

Hello Doctor, I took rabies vaccine in a government medical. The syringe was already loaded with vaccine. It was in a plastic container. One ice packet also was in the container. The container seems a bit moist. But i saw one used syringe was there without needle. As i took vaccine from the same container. How much risk of HIV? If that used syringe already infected with hiv!! The moisture contact with my syringe needle get me infect ? My syringe needle was in a red cap but still i am feeling anxious. If moisture get in to the cap and touch my syringe needle. I will get infect ?????? Please help me doctor!!
