CML patient having alcoholic addiction

Small mass lesion in kidney,lung nodule

My father have been diagnosed with a small mass lesion in kidney less than 4 cm, exophytic, nephrometry score is 6, urologist suggested for partial nephrectomy, my fear is with the lung nodules as it can happen beacuse of metastasis, we have done PET CT , reporte are yet to come, the nodules are so small cannot be even takrn for biopsy, will do repeat CT after 6 months, but if cancer then what are the chances of recovery?
