Pomegranate for baby

My friend's little baby (15months old) ate pomegranate with seeds. Would that cause any problem? Please help me understand.

My 4year and 10 months year old having fever since saturday.fever is not there throught the day and night.fever comes mostly in the evening and continues till night.morning he wake up fine and he is active and eating well.again around 3 oclock he develops fever.Blood and urine culture done on sunday and everyhing looks fine.he complains about stomach pain some times but it seems its not severe .stool n urine are normal.
