Hey...I had gall bladder stone during pregnancy...now my child is 1.5 month old...today I had drotin tablet since I was facing pain in the upper abdomen...can I breastfeed?? Or should I wait for next 24 hour and dump the milk?
Drotin (dicyclomine) is generally considered safe while breastfeeding. It passes into breast milk in only small amounts. You don't need to pump and discard milk, or pause feeding.
Next Steps
Since you had a gallbladder stone in pregnancy, this new pain is worth checking properly. Please see a physician or gastroenterologist soon, so the stone and your liver function can be looked at again.
Health Tips
Go in urgently if the pain gets severe, you develop fever, or your eyes or skin turn yellow.
