Health Q&A
Anxiety issue or something else

Whenever I feel stress , even day to day life stress causes chest tightness and heavy breathing. I feel numbness in my legs and hands. Sometimes my legs start shaking and my hand also shivers and automatically my fist closes or tries to hold something and close fist tightly. I sleep a alot . Even then after some hours I feel sleepy. After my breakfast either my head feels heavy or light and my eyes starts closing and I feel so sleepy that I can't resist it for too long and then I sleep again .

Blood Pressure Medication

In Feb'26  I got stressed out and became very anxious. I was put on Concor 2.5mg. All test 2D Echo and ECG were done and normal. Then at the same time I developed a UTI infection and after I got better I was put on Concor 5T as in the doctor office my BP went 150/100 whereas at home it has been 115-145/72-86 in that range, Now my BP is always between 110-118/62-76. I have been taking Concor 5T since a month now. Can I reduce and completely stop the medication as I never had BP before in my life, only during the time of my anxiousness it went up and only whenever my BP is checked at a doctor's place it goes up with the fear.

EECP vs Other non surgical options

EECP vs Better Non-Surgical Options: 61F Post-Pulmonary Edema (TVD, 42% EF) 61F. Frail/thin. Hospitalized last week for 1st time with acute pulmonary edema (now resolved). Currently stable: lungs clear, SpO2 98%, Pulse 82-85, FBS 155, PPBS 198. Has intense thirst and fragmented sleep. Angiogram: Severe TVD. LMCA 30-40% stenosis; LAD total occlusion (filling via active collaterals); Distal LCX 90-95% stenosis; RCA total occlusion (retrograde filling). Surgeons advised against CABG/PCI due to frailty; recommended medical management as collaterals are compensating. 2D Echo: EF 42%, mild PAH, multiple hypokinetic LV segments. Chambers/IVC normal. Meds: Axcer 90mg BID, Aspirin AV 75/40, Bisoprolol 1.25mg, Angispan 2.6mg, Oxra 10mg, Tab Leni 40mg (1.5 tabs/day). NovoRapid (10-10-8) + Lantus (10u at 10 PM). Strict 1L fluid limit, zero-salt diet. Questions: Can EECP safely mature her collaterals, or does increased venous return risk re-inducing pulmonary edema so soon?
