I took iron infusion during colonoscopy in February as I was on 24ug/l. Then, the iron was 532ug/l (February) after infusion. In March my blood result shows the iron dropped to 229ug/l. My question is, is it normal to see ferritin Level go down within a month with infusion.
I was also diagnosed with crohn's disease but I don't have any crohn's symptoms. My colonoscopy was done because I had low iron.
My last LFT, KFT test was done on 14th January, 2024 and reports were normal. I started with Viropil tablet as PEP on 7th April, 2024 without any test as I didn't want to delay the treatment. Today, after 15 days I tested for CBC, LFT, KFT. Urea is 16.9, rest other markers in KFT is normal. Kindly investigate my report and recommend further course of action.
