Hello Doctor,
We would like to consult you regarding this critical case. The patient (65-year-old male) is currently admitted at Max Hospital, Dehradun, and is on tracheostomy support following severe pneumonia with sepsis.
Despite ongoing treatment, there has been no significant improvement. The reports also indicate a multidrug-resistant infection (Acinetobacter), and the patient is still dependent on suction and NG feeding due to swallowing difficulty.
- Current line of management
- Possible changes in treatment
- Prognosis and expected recovery
We would really appreciate your expert opinion and assurance on how to proceed further.
Thank you.

Hello Most Respected Physicians here,
while being away from my home town, I developed UTI with burning sensation while passing urine. I consulted a physician at that place who prescribed me Urispas tablet, BD, and Alkasol syrup, 2TSP, TDS. And recommended me to drink plenty of water. Healing began from first day onward. However the third day, I had to be at a place where there was no access to clean drinking water or public convenience. Resultantly burning sensation resurfaced though not as intense as day one. Now five days are completed without full relief.
Is it safe to continue urispas & Alkasol syrup for 7 more days to get full proper relief?
Many many thanks and Warmest Regards 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Yesterday evening, I was walking under trees and I felt a few tiny drops fall in my eye. I’m not sure what it was—maybe water or something from above. I didn’t see any bat or animal, I washed my eye afterwards. I’m worried about infections like rabies or Nipah and wanted to check if there’s any risk or if I need treatment
