My urine routine report shows bacteria 84.7/HPF, cocci 78.1/HPF, and mucus 182.8/HPF. WBC is normal at 0.8/HPF, and the urine is slightly turbid. I do not have any urinary symptoms such as burning, pain, urgency, or frequent urination. Could these findings be due to sample contamination rather than a UTI? Should I do a urine culture or need any treatment?

Hi Doctor, I’m a 20-year-old male and would like some guidance regarding a few symptoms. For the past 7 days, I’ve been urinating quite frequently, around 8–9 times within 12 hours. Sometimes, even after urinating, I feel the urge to urinate again shortly afterward. I’ve also noticed that I’m more thirsty than usual and have been drinking water more frequently.
