I have shortness of breath grade 4 finger clubbing chest tightness ( cant inhale fully ) and some pain in mid belly for 1.6 years. Symptoms are chronic don't improve with time Hrct done two times came normal Xray came normal 4 times Pft FVC 89% SLIGHTLY LOW TO NORMAL RANGE (mpv ) PALATES ARE SLIGHTLY HIGH
Could you please explain it this Calcific dot like seen in x ray, is it safe? Or it can be due to which reason kindly help and advice.
Hello Doctor, I am planning to do a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT/spirometry) in a Government Hospital. I noticed that they may not use disposable spirometry filters and instead use a reusable mouthpiece/tube. I want to know: Can I buy my own single-use spirometry filter from a medical store or online? Will it fit most spirometry machines? Is it generally allowed to carry and use my own filter during the test in a Government Hospital? Has anyone done this before? Will using my own filter affect the accuracy of the test? I am mainly concerned about hygiene and infection safety. Thank you
Hello Doctor, I am noticing since few days when my wife started sleep her breathing is stopped for 15-20 seconds..she is unable to breathe,one day she was fainted due to broken breathe.in that situation she is helpless.. earlier it happened in a month but now it's happening every second day..it happened just before I am writing this and it happens only in nights.
