Appendicitis Surgery

Appendicitis is a result of a blockage, mostly made of faeces, in the hollow part of appendix. The first recorded appendectomy that went successful was in the year 1735 when Claudius Amyand, a French surgeon explained the presence of inflamed appendix within the patient’s body. Pain, vomiting, nausea and fever are a few signs and symptoms of appendicitis.
