Avoid large meals, spicy/fatty foods, late-night eating and lying down for 2–3 hours after meals I would recommend a gastroenterology consultation if symptoms persist or worsen rather than attributing everything to fatty liver.

Heartburn and indigestion after meals are usually from acid reflux, which fatty liver and extra weight can worsen by raising pressure on the stomach. Pasty stool that feels incompletely passed points more toward a digestion or gut-motility issue than the liver itself, though significant fatty liver can affect bile flow too.
Next Steps
Smaller, earlier dinners, not lying down right after eating, and cutting back on fried or oily food usually help both symptoms. An endoscopy isn't always the first step, so ask your gastroenterologist whether it's needed based on how you respond to initial treatment.
Health Tips
See a doctor sooner if you notice blood in your stool, black stools or unintended weight loss.
