Lazy eye ?

Will not wearing my prescription glasses all the time (-2.75 left , -3 right with 0.75 astigmatism in both) cause lazy eyes ? I'm 20 , female My optometrist told me to wear them all the time even for near work.

Do I need to wear glasses all the time ?

I have had myopia since my early teens and I didn't get it corrected back then , 2 yrs ago I got glasses but I rarely wore them (-2.75 left eye , -3 right eye) the power remained the same Now I got new glasses made (for a better frame) but I see less crisp with my left eye (very slightly tho) but I see well with my old glasses from the left . Overall , I see well with my new + old glasses. But the optometrist said , my eyes are becoming lazy . I'm very scared . Do I need to wear my glasses all the time for both near and far work ?
