Health Q&A
Type 1 diabetes

Hello dr, I am type 1 diabetic from long time. From quite some time whenever I sleep at night I suddenly feel whole body like shaking or nerves are tingling and I wake up with some peculiar feeling like whole body has dizziness. But again when I sleep I don't feel anything till morning. What is this happening if I get some idea. Thanks in advance

Numbness and tingling with high pressure

Few weeks ago while working I suddenly felt weakness, numbness and tingling on my body and couldn't move my hands and legs and had breathlessness. My family checked my blood pressure and it was 130/80 I took Amlodipine 5mg immediately and felt better after 20-30 minutes. Since than I've been taking Blood pressure medication daily (Amlodipine 2.5 mg) I've lost my appetite and lost 3-4 kgs . I eat to stay strong but I'm weak and unable to do much work like before. And I can't stay hungry because whenever I'm hungry my hands and legs starts to tingle and go numb , and I feel like fainting and during this episode my blood pressure goes up and once the tingling and numbness go away my blood pressure gets better. I take blood pressure medication daily but every day I suffer numbness and tingling with fainting like symptoms atleast 2-3 times a day and when this symptoms occurs my blood pressure also rises and once I feel better my blood pressure gets better. What is the cause? Plz help

Balance problems with stiff neck & head

I have been experiencing persistent balance issues since 2024, along with stiffness and pressure in my neck and head. I had also experienced speech difficulties in 2022. Although MRIs of my head and neck have been normal, the symptoms have continued and are now causing severe memory and cognitive difficulties that affect my quality of life. I wanted to know whether a CT angiogram and CT venography of head and neck could help identify any issues that may not have appeared on MRI scans. I would also like to know if a doctor here could prescribe these tests if possible. Thank you!
