To relieve the pain, I need to place a pillow on my foot for pressure, which helps me fall asleep. The pain usually disappears once I start walking. Hello Doctor, I am a football player and had suffered an injury in my Achilles tendon of both of my legs a few months back. Initially, I took a few days of rest and resumed playing once there was no pain. However, I again got an injury on my right Achilles tendon, and this time the pain was so severe that I was unable to put weight on my right heel. After undergoing X-ray and ultrasound, I have been diagnosed with Achilles calcific tendinitis on both of my legs. Could you please advise on: 1.
