Hello doctor, about 5 month before I tested CBC the platelet range in between 2 to 3 lakh .now a days my platelet is in range of 90k to 1 lakh in automated test but in manual reading it is in 1.8 lakh to 2.8 lakh .my pathologist said i have normally big platelet cell size. My question is why suddenly my platelet size is bigger than previous month or yrs .is this indicate any kind of future upcoming problem or it is just a normal mutation?

Post-surgery, he received six months of chemo, which consisted of Gemcitabine and Capecitabine. The chemo regimen involved Gem. administered in 6 cycles, each comprising three sessions per week. Cap. was taken once in the morning and twice at night for 14 consecutive days, followed by a seven-day break. The chemo concluded on February, 2024.
A PET scan revealed metastases to the lungs and liver and underwent liver biopsy. The doctor has advised Teyoges 20mg two times for 21 days with 7 days off, and this cycle is to be continued.Additionally, the patient has received the first dose of Oxaliplatin 150mg on 27th March, with another chemo session scheduled after 3 weeks. currently pt. is too week, having body pain and loss of appetite. can we reduce the dose of teyoges
Iam female 25. I have a swollen lymph node right under my jaw(not so big, when we touch we can feel a wide bump). Sometimes it shrinks a little bit and then swell. Sometimes it is a little bit tender. I have a history of allergies. I dont have any other symptoms. I first noticed the swollen node 2 months back after a fever and it is still there. After taking an antibiotic it didnt shrink(only took the first dose).A blood test was done.
