Hi,
My doctor has prescribed nexito 5mg for anxiety. But I am little worried to take that medicine. I have read many papers and evidences where its mentioned that nexito affects hearts QTC value which can be dangerous.
I really don't know why many psychiatrists ignore this and say it's safest medicine.
can someone tell me what's the trade off

On February 8th, my father had a stroke with an intracerebral bleed of 39 mm in the deep brain, which also caused a paralysis on his right side. Since then, his recovery has been progressing—his speech is clearer than before, though not fully clear yet. He is starting to move his legs, and he can stand with support. The medications have remained the same for the past two months, and the doctor provided a new three-month prescription. At his second checkup, the doctor noted possible nerve compression in his neck and suggested a neck support. However, if this does not improve, surgery might be required. Could you provide a second opinion on whether the nerve compression is likely and if we should consider changing his medication or other interventions at this stage?
