Itching and a little redness in eyes
From last three days I am experiencing slight itching in both my eyes. Also the eyes are slightly red.

I get this spot in my left eye very often . Whenever I take a bath I get this red spot which resolves after sometime. I have to study all day now and it is getting worse. With cold compress it gets quite better. But what it is and why it is occurring so frequently and how to treat it?

As per doctor's prescription enclosed herewith my father has undergone cataract surgery in the right eye. After surgery the doctor has again advised to go for cataract surgery in the left eye. However, my father hasn't complained about vision in left eye. As a second opinion, i want to know if as per visual acuity readings, surgery is really required/urgently required in the left eye.
