Hello Doctor, I had a single seizure in June 2025 and have been taking my medication regularly since then. I have not had any seizures after that. I am planning a trip to Ladakh in a few months, which involves long train travel and high altitude. I want to know if it is safe for me to travel in these conditions, especially considering sleep changes and altitude. Also, could you please guide me on what precautions I should take during the trip, what symptoms I should watch for, and what I should do if a seizure happens while traveling? Doctor, I am experiencing a daily sleep disturbance. Every morning between 3:00 and 4:00 AM, I wake up with a distinct feeling of heaviness and numbness localized to the back of my head.
